- Owing to the construction features the durability on the bending Light Alloyed Drill Pipes are higher in 35%, than Light Alloyed Drill Pipes with diameter 54 mm and foreign analogues.
- For detachable tool joint’s thread Light Alloyed Drill Pipes it is required to almost less cycles in 2 times as compared with tapered threads of Light Alloyed Drill Pipes with diameter 54 mm till the whole screwing of the threading connection.
- Light Alloyed Drill Pipes are more effective in high-frequency drilling, predominantly in diamond way of drilling, and also in correction of wells’ chassis and in directional drilling.
- The using of analogical outside diameters and detachable connector’ threads provides the complete interchangeability of Light Alloyed Drill Pipes and Universal Steel Drill Pipes, lets to form different optimal cracker of drill column from Universal Steel Drill Pipes and Light Alloyed Drill Pipes.
For example, in drilling of wells in solid soils with bits, which have diameters 93 mm, with the depth of wells 200 and more meters it is important to install in the lower part of the column Universal Steel Drill Pipes-85 with length 15 m (for creation axial load up to 20 KiloNewton), and in the upper part – Light Alloyed Drill Pipes-85. It will allow to use the most high rotation frequencies, which can be saved on significant wells depths having the high safety of the drill column. Besides, the labour conditions of the drill crew will be lighted – during jostle operations there is no use to change elevators, drive-heads and keys of the pipe’s turn and the labour of manual operations with Light Alloyed Drill Pipes of the assistant driller significantly reduces.
